The Company is looking for a dynamic, self motivated individual with good interpersonal & communication skills to oversee the profitability of the company’s specialised underwriting business. These will include Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability, Pension Fund Trustees Liability, Abscondence & Retrenchment, Credit Card Protection, Travel, Livestock and Aviation.
Key performance areas
- Developing and marketing of specialised insurance products
- Assisting in the development of risk management strategies
- Monitoring of major clients and adequately assisting in their insurance requirements
- Monitoring and managing trends of losses and risks
- Monitoring internal service standards and maintaining of client service level agreements
- Conducting of market analysis and identification of key opportunities and entry points
- Providing weekly reports on broker visits and reporting on any challenges experienced
- Compiling and producing monthly management reports

Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Insurance (ACII) or studying towards Associateship with proven record in development and marketing of Financial Lines and Accident & Health insurance products, with at least 5 years relevant insurance experience.
- Must have advanced working knowledge of treaty and facultative reinsurance
- Must have a valid drivers’ license and a vehicle
