Established in 2010 by husband and wife team, Prosper Changamire and Moira Changamire, First Heritage Insurance Services is a division of First Heritage Pty Ltd. First Heritage offers individuals and companies comprehensive advice on insurance and risk management. Backed by Botswana Insurance Company, one of the country’s largest insurance companies, First Heritage is committed to offering a top class modern day risk consulting service.
Moira Changamire (Principal Officer) started her career with Botswana Insurance Company in the accounts department as a cashier and was elevated to the position of credit controller and subsequently promoted to Reinsurance accounts officer. Moira left for the UK where she joined Centrica, a top 30 FTSE 100 Company as an Operations Coordinator and rose to the position of Deputy Operation Manager. Moira completed her AAT Technician Level Diploma at East Berkshire College in the UK. She has attended various courses in customer service and management in the UK. She has a Certificate of Competency In Short Term Insurance from the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA). Moira is currently studying for her Associate-ship with the Insurance Institute of South Africa.
Prosper Changamire (Director) has extensive experience in insurance and financial services having started his career with Old Mutual Zimbabwe. He has worked for number of leading insurance companies in Botswana and rose through the ranks to senior management before leaving for the UK in order to gain international experience. In the UK he worked for Slough Borough Council and Royal Mail among others, before returning to Botswana and decided to form First Heritage Pty Ltd. Experienced in both Short term and Long term insurance, Prosper has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Sociology from the University of Zimbabwe, Intermediate Certificate in Business Studies from the Insurance Institute of South Africa as well as Graduate Management Qualification from Birkbeck College, University of London
