Suspension of Omega Insurance Brokers (PTY) LTD by the NBFIRA
It is with regret that we have to inform you that with effect from 4 November 2009, Omega Insurance Brokers (Pty) Ltd. have had their broking license suspended by the NON BANK FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS REGULATORY AUTHORITY (NBFIRA) and are not allowed to transact any insurance business. Therefore Botswana Insurance Company Limited (BIC), your insurer of first choice, can no longer conduct business with Omega Insurance Brokers (Pty) Ltd. BIC would, however, like to assure you of our continued support and service.

The NBFIRA advises all clients of Omega Insurance Brokers (Pty) Ltd. to pay their premiums directly to their insurer and to submit claims directly to their insurer. If your premium has not been paid, please submit the payment directly to BIC with immediate effect to ensure that your cover does not lapse.
